About me

Hi, I'm Catherine and I live in beautiful Mid Cornwall with my husband and our crazy Frenchie Lola.

I created Cornish Rock Box in 2020, making pictures with shells and pebbles found on local beaches. Soon after that one of my favourite rock bands "Those Damn Crows" brought out a limited edition craft ale with a fabulous picture on the can.  It was too good to throw away so I decided to draw a crow and see if I could cut feathers from the can to make the crow 3D.

After sharing the results online the rest is, as they say, history. There is lots of trial and error, but also lots of beautiful art that I put my heart and soul into.  All components of my art are cut freehand, therefore making each one totally unique.
